I am a Texas Real Estate Broker and REALTOR with Uncommon Realty, proudly serving buyers, sellers, investors, and families throughout the greater Austin, Texas area. For more than 40 years, I've built my career around one simple belief: when clients understand the process, they make better decisions. My role isn't just to help you buy or sell a property. It's to be your trusted advisor before, during, and long after the transaction is complete.
Four Decades of Experience, Never Finished Learning
Forty years in real estate has taught me a lot. I've worked through booming markets, challenging markets, changing interest rates, evolving contracts, and countless unique situations that no textbook could ever prepare someone for. But experience alone isn't enough.
The real estate industry never stands still. Laws change. Contracts are revised. Technology transforms the way we do business. Consumer expectations evolve. If you're going to provide exceptional representation, you have to be willing to keep learning. That's why continuing education has always been one of the foundations of my career.
Today, I hold more than 15 professional real estate designations and certifications, representing thousands of hours of education far beyond what is required to maintain a real estate license. Those credentials cover nearly every aspect of residential real estate, including buyer representation, seller representation, negotiations, pricing strategy, brokerage management, military relocation, short sales, foreclosures, professional standards, diversity, and digital marketing.
I didn't pursue those credentials to impress people. I pursued them because every class, every certification, and every designation makes me a better advocate for the people who trust me with one of life's biggest investments.
A Broker Who Teaches the Industry
Education isn't simply something I pursue. It's something I share. I am Robbie English and for more than a decade, I've had the privilege of teaching real estate professionals throughout Texas and across the United States. I regularly teach courses on contracts, negotiations, agency relationships, pricing strategies, legal updates, and risk management, helping REALTORS strengthen their knowledge and better serve their own clients.
Several of the industry's most respected educational programs have become an important part of my own career. I am the author and instructor of the Texas Buyer Specialists (TBS) and Texas Listing Specialists (TLS) certification programs, and I teach the nationally recognized Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation to REALTORS across the country.
Teaching keeps me immersed in the latest legal changes, industry trends, and best practices. That means my clients benefit from knowledge that isn't based on outdated methods or yesterday's market. They receive guidance that's current, practical, and built around today's real estate landscape.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is the trust I've earned from fellow real estate professionals. Throughout my career, I've practiced real estate in two states and taught professionals nationwide. For me, Robbie English, that experience has given me a broader understanding of how markets behave, how laws differ, and how successful strategies can be adapted to meet the needs of individual clients. Teaching across the country has also exposed me to ideas, techniques, and perspectives from professionals in every type of market imaginable. While every transaction is local, great ideas aren't limited by geography. Bringing those insights home allows me to provide my clients with thoughtful advice that combines decades of experience with a wider view of the industry.

I live in Northwest Austin, and it's a community I'm proud to call home. Living here gives me firsthand knowledge of the neighborhoods, schools, parks, employers, restaurants, and local amenities that make the greater Austin area such an incredible place to live. It's one thing to study a market. It's another to experience it every day.
Although Northwest Austin is home, I serve clients throughout the region. I regularly help buyers and sellers in Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Hutto, Liberty Hill, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Spicewood, Bastrop, and many surrounding communities.

That's one of the reasons I spend so much time creating articles, videos, and educational resources that help people understand the buying and selling process before they ever make a move.

I've never measured success by the number of homes I've sold.
